Bandipur Cable Car & Tourism Ltd is located at Bandipur 4, Tanahu, near Dumre Bazaar. From the Bandipur Cable Car, the famous Bandipur place can be reached by covering only a distance of 1616 meters. The cable car is connected from the Prithvi Highway Cable car chowk to the ancient village of Bandipur. This Cable car, which provides an amazing pleasure from the view of natural beauty, flies up to a height of 3500 feet.

Experience the Bandipur Cable Car Ride

The Cable car ride will provide you with almost 90 degrees of rock climbing experience. It is known as Nepal's first TUV-certified cable car as well, so no need to worry about the safety, as it has been passed through rigorous testing. The length it covers from the starting to the end point of the ride is 1616 meters, with a number of cabins as 23, and the number of passengers in each cabin is 8 people. It can carry 500 people per hour. It has a total of 11 towers in between. While it takes you around 30 minutes to 1 hour by bus from Dumre, it will take you only around 7 minutes from the cable car ride to reach the destination, i.e, Bandipur. So, by offering the Cable Car facility to visitors, it not only saves their travelling time to reach Bandipur, but it also offers a comfortable and affordable ride to them. By sitting on the Bandipur Cable Car, you will get a chance to witness the mind-blowing natural view of the Hills and forests. Also, they are operating daily in alternating shifts from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, which are huge working hours; you don't need to hurry for a visit or return, and you will get a flexible service as per your time.

This Zipline offers you an amazing and quick ride over the forest, hills, and panoramic views of the Bandipur Cable Car area. No need to fear about safety as it has been certified with trained staff to give you a safe and secure adventurous experience.

Sky Cycling

The second activity that I did in my last visit to the Bandipur Cable Car station was Sky Cycling. If you are not familiar with this activity, then let me tell you, it is cycling but riding in a high-wire track, where you need to pedal a specially designed bike on that high-wire track, which is at a very high height above the ground. I honestly don't have much fear about the height, so I tried Sky Cycling there and must say it was so fun and exciting. For people who get excited about adventure with the touch of the height, I recommend you try Sky Cycling at Bandipur Cable car station, to get an open-air experience with breathtaking views while looking below.

The first thing I noticed while walking around the Bandipur Cable Car station was the Floating Kettle. It is placed near the main Cable Car station and it's outstanding for having a social media content type photography and for giving a magical touch too. The cattle is painted with gold color, giving it a rich and aesthetic vibe. It is a large kettle that seems like floating in the air, and pouring endless water into a cup below. It is a unique art and surely a great spot for creative photos. It is best for playful shots, a fun and magical illusion photography.

Golo Ghar

As Nepalese, we must have heard about Golo Ghar in books, history, villages, and from our grandparents. Golo Ghar is an old design of the house in Nepal, which is famous for its looks and amazing architecture. Although Golo Ghar is simple with the materials used but it gives you a pure and beautiful vibe with it. At the corner of the Zipline area, a beautiful traditional round-style house with a thatched roof is there. It is very charming, attractive, and best for giving you old village-inspired photos. It is also great for sharing our old history with the Golo Ghar tradition of Nepal to the youth and the tourists as well. It is also becoming a resting spot and is being decorated mostly in different seasons.

This place is best for your family photos, storytelling shots, and even for traditional pictures.
